Old World Garage doors is located in Oceanside California. The doors are manufactured in a state of the art wood mill. Our company and employees take tremendous pride in the quality and workmanship of our doors. We mill all of our own wood allowing us to oversee all aspects of the quality of wood and put long tested jointing techniques in the manufacturing of the doors; giving the door a longer longevity. We use acclimated wood for all doors meaning there is less movement in the wood when it is finished. Our Clear Western Red Cedar is always vertical grain allowing no movement in the wood. The company has over 25 years of woodworking experience; our foreman has 25 years of experience with this company and all other employees have at least 12 years of experience here. We have no turnover of employees. The company pays close attention to every detail of the door to make sure it will fit with the design of the house and will have a dramatic impact on the curb appeal of the house. The stains that we use are the highest rated stains made, allowing for a significantly longer lasting door with less hassle. The tracking and motors are specifically manufactured for the weight of carriage house doors.
